“Say, (The truth is: Allah is One.)” [Al- Quran 112:1]

The imperative qul (Say) is directly addressed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), thus indicating that he is Allah’s Prophet and Messenger. This verse directs and commands him to convey Allah’s message to mankind. ‘Allah’ is the personal name of that Necessary Being Whose non-existence is inconceivable. He comprises all the attributes of perfection and is free from, or above, or overrides all kinds of imperfections.

“The Most Merciful. Taught the Qur’an, Created man, [And] taught him eloquence.” [Al- Quran 55:1-4]

“Allah: There is no god but He, the Alive, the All Sustaining. Neither doze overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. Who can intercede with Him without His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them. And they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi (chair) extends to the Heavens and to the Earth, and it does not weary Him to look after them. And he is the High, the Supreme.” [Al- Quran 2:255]

 “O those who believe, eat of the good things We have provided you and be grateful to Allah, if (really) you are to worship Him alone. He has only forbidden you: carrion, blood, the flesh of swine and that upon which a name other than ‘Allah’ has been invoked. So whoever is compelled by necessity, neither seeking pleasure nor transgressing, then there is no sin on him. Verily, Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.”  [Al- Quran 2:172-173]

“Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.” [Al- Quran 2:225]

“And be sure that Allah knows what is in your hearts. So, fear Him and be sure that Allah is most Forgiving, Forbearing.” [Al- Quran 2:235]

“The forgiver of sin, acceptor of repentance, severe in punishment, owner of abundance. There is no deity except Him; to Him is the destination.” [Al-Quran 40:3]

 “He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”  [Al- Quran 59:22-24]

“We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and [that] you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper?” [Al- Quran 2:106-107]

“To Allah belongs the East and the West. So, whichever way you turn, there is the Face of Allah. Indeed, Allah is all Embracing, all-Knowing.” [Al- Quran 2:115]
