Morality

Allah gave Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) the exalted character, which included the qualities of modesty, kindness, bravery, pardoning, gentleness and every other good characteristic. He is the ideal character for all human beings.

This quranic verse describes the character of prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as

“And indeed, you are of a great moral character.” [Al- Quran 68:4]

“So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].” [Al- Quran 3:159]

“And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive.” [Al- Quran 42:37]

“And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation – his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers.” [Al- Quran 42:40] 

“And whoever is patient and forgives – indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination.” [Al- Quran 42:43]

“Take what is given freely, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant.” [Al- Quran 7:199]

“Surely (as to) those who believe and do good and humble themselves to their Lord, these are the dwellers of the garden, in it they will abide.” [Al- Quran 11:23]
