Prophet’s concern for mankind

“There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful.” [Al-Quran 9:128]

“Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers.” [Al-Quran 26:3]

We know that you, [O Muhammad], are saddened by what they say. And indeed, they do not call you untruthful, but it is the verses of Allah that the wrongdoers reject. [Al-Quran 6:33]

“Then perhaps you would kill yourself through grief over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message, [and] out of sorrow.” [Al-Quran 18:6]

“But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness.” [Al- Quran 8:33]
