Duties towards Allah

“O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous” [Al-Quran 2:21]

“O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good – that you may succeed.” [Al-Quran 21:73]

“And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death).” [Al-Quran 15:99]

“Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path.” [Al-Quran 3:51]

“That is Allah, your Lord; there is no deity except Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He is Disposer of all things.” [Al-Quran 6:102]

“And those who associate others with Allah say, “If Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him.” Thus did those do before them. So is there upon the messengers except [the duty of] clear notification? And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], “Worship Allah and avoid Taghut.” And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.” [Al-Quran 16:35-36]

“That you not worship except Allah. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a painful day.” [Al-Quran 11:26]

“Follow, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you from your Lord – there is no deity except Him – and turn away from those who associate others with Allah.” [Al-Quran 6:106]

“And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins – and who can forgive sins except Allah? – and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know.” [Al-Quran 3:135]

“And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you “Muslims” before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah . He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.” [Al- Quran 22:78]
